Collecting members’ volunteer hours at monthly meetings and inputting them into a database to help keep better track of participation for state and national club awards.
Outreach to retired and active duty military veterans: writing greeting cards of good cheer, etc. Major outreach projects have included working with our state-level FFRW to collect items for Soldiers' Angels Babies and for Holiday Stockings for Heroes. Also, to encourage members to fly the US Flag for patriotic holidays throughout the year.
Activities to help Republicans running for offices to get elected. Phone calling, Walk-A-Thons, sign waving, golf cart rallies, campaign rallies, Door-to-Door, etc.
Community outreach to local organizations and programs. Partnership with a local food bank, providing year-round donations from members of food, clothing, and household items. Literacy projects: Donations of wholesome patriotic children's books to local school libraries and public libraries. Collection of supplies for local schools during May and June for donation in July. Partners closely with the club's Armed Forces and Americanism Committee (including the Soldiers' Angels and Operation Shoebox programs). Supports Made in USA and Shop Local Businesses efforts.
To assist the club in educating, informing, and promoting Republican conservative values and candidates, via electronic means, to club members and the public. Create and run PowerPoint presentations for the monthly general meetings. Maintain the Website, web hosting contracts, and technical support contracts. Our sub-committees include: Public Relations (press releases for local newspaper), Social media (Facebook, Twitter), and Graphic Design (special event flyers).
Attend educational State (FFRW) and National (NFRW) Conferences with other members.
Build volunteer teams to plan, design and execute special events for RFWTV. Annual fundraiser dinner with auction baskets and other activities to raise money for the club.
Create and maintain a yearbook, an official record of club meetings and events.
New member gatherings, orientations and social activities for club members.
To learn about and discuss Local, State, and National legislative issues and priorities. To hold our elected representatives accountable. Occasional day-trips to our state capitol, Tallahassee. Five new sub-committees starting in 2023 include election integrity, human trafficking awareness, exposing critical race theory, Keep 9 SCOTUS, and medical freedom.
