Veterans' Stuffed Stockings
Make the Holidays Brighter for a Veteran
Please take a stocking or two at our member meetings or purchase and donate a stocking, and stuff it them with small items that a veteran would love to have. Clip the top of your stuffed stocking with a safety pin or binder clip so all your fun goodies don't spill out. DO NOT sew them shut. We will secure them with large binder clips.
Stuffing Ideas:
- Commercially packaged nuts, cookies or candy
- Single serving drinks
- Playing cards
- Travel type games
- Puzzle books
- Caps
- Gloves
- Socks
- Lip balm
- Other holiday themed items
Items NOT to include:
- No glass
- No sharp objects
- No products containing alcohol
- No aerosols
- No glitter
- No branded/political names
- No home baked items
- No loose candies
